Fire Stations

Fire Station No. 1 and Fire Administration

Murrieta Fire Station #1, located on Juniper Street, houses Truck 1, Water Tender 1 and Technical Rescue 1. Station #1 is staffed with 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #1 serves the west side of the city and is also the location of the department's Fire Administration offices and staff.

Fire Station No. 2

Murrieta Fire Station #2, located on California Oaks Road, houses Engine 2, Truck 2 (cross-staffed) and Brush 2 (cross-staffed). Station #2 is staffed with 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #2 is located in the center of the city and is Murrieta's busiest fire station.

Fire Station No. 3

Murrieta Fire Station #3, located on Whitewood Road, houses Engine 3 and Brush 3 (cross-staffed). Station #3 is staffed with 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #3 serves the east side of Murrieta and responds to emergencies on the I-15 and I-215 freeways.

Fire Station No. 4

Murrieta Fire Station #4, located on Baxter Road, houses Engine 4, OES 8634 (cross-staffed) and Battalion 1. Station #4 is staffed with 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #4 serves the north end of the city and responds to emergencies on the I-215. OES 8634 responds year round, up and down the state as part of the master mutual aid system for wild land fires and natural disasters.

Fire Station No. 5

Murrieta Fire Station #5, located on Vineyard Parkway, houses Engine 5 and Brush 5 (cross-staffed). Station #5 is staffed with 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #5 serves the west side of the city including the communities of Copper Canyon and Bear Creek as well as the I-15 freeway.
