Murrieta Fire Station #1, located on Juniper Street, houses Engine 1. Station #1 is staffed with 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #1 serves the west side of the city and is also the location of the department's Fire Administration offices and staff.

Murrieta Fire Station #2, located on California Oaks Road, houses Truck 2, Technical Rescue Trailer 2, Water Tender 2 (cross-staffed), and Medic Patrol 2. Station #2 is staffed with 1 Captain, 2 Engineers, and 2 Firefighter/Paramedics. Station #2 is located in the center of the city and is Murrieta's busiest fire station.

Murrieta Fire Station #3, located on Whitewood Road, houses Engine 3, Medic Patrol 3, and OES 6614 (Type 6). Station #3 is staffed with 1 Captain, 2 Engineers, and 2 Firefighter/Paramedics. Station #3 serves the east side of Murrieta and responds to emergencies on the I-15 and I-215 freeways. OES 6614 responds year-round, up and down the state as part of the master mutual aid system for wild land fires and natural disasters.

Murrieta Fire Station #4, located on Baxter Road, houses Engine 4, Brush 4 (cross-staffed) and Battalion 1. Station #4 is staffed with 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #4 serves the north end of the city and responds to emergencies on the I-215.

Murrieta Fire Station #5, located on Vineyard Parkway, houses Engine 5 and OES 6311 (Type 3). Station #5 is staffed with 1 Captain, 1 Engineer, and 1 Firefighter/Paramedic. Station #5 serves the west side of the city including the communities of Copper Canyon and Bear Creek as well as the I-15 freeway. OES 6311 responds year-round, up and down the state as part of the master mutual aid system for wild land fires and natural disasters.
